At Sursum Securities, we are interested in investigating and participating in businesses which are seeking for ownership restructuring and divestment, assets and investments disposal, management buyouts, recapitalisations, funding for business growth and improve returns on operating assets. Our principal objectives in these opportunities are to ensure the business entities remain strong ‘going’ concerns poised for growth and capitalisation of market opportunities and accommodation of disparate goals and expectations of stakeholders.

Recapitalisations and Shareholder Liquidity Investments

Sursum Securities is interested in companies seeking to realize cash from their business investments while retaining some equity interest in the business. These may include family-owned businesses looking to affect a generational transfer, diversify personal net worth, generate cash for current shareholders, receive a capital injection or desire to relinquish management of the business, to name a few.
In this regard, Sursum Securities’ expertise and experience is the development of strategy and positioning of the business for recapitalisation and where relevant, proposition new investor funds to achieve the objectives.

Growth Funding

Growth funding, as the name suggests, is additional funding of an existing business to capitalise on market opportunities to grow revenue and profitability, including higher marginal returns on investments.
Our rules of engagement and due diligence will expect Sursum Securities to strenuously stress test the assumptions supporting the business growth, mitigate potential risks and explore funding possibilities and options. These could include, public offering, injection of various classes of capital/equity, project funding and other liquidity options. The choice or combination of options will be determined in cognisant of the objectives expectations of existing and potential stakeholders.
